Hey, there! It’s me, The “Other” Alice… in a different sort of wonderland… yeah, different looking glass, too… way different. Let me explain myself:

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

I am a teenage homeschooled Christian girl in Upstate New York (hope all those adjectives aren’t confusing), my interests are missions, history, art, pets, gardening, survival, moviemaking, music, medicine, dentistry, and finding ways to make young boys virtuous, disciplined, and useful. I think that my hobbies are housekeeping, gardening, and songwriting. In the later part of 2007 I was set free from my burden at the Cross of Jesus Christ. Since then, everything in life is new and meaningful, not always tranquil and pretty, but where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). I started this blog in August 2009, though my Mom had been trying to get me to start one even earlier. I have a great desire to help people and especially to tell them of the wonderful news of how man can have peace with God, and I hope this blog will help fulfill that desire. In my own eyes I sometimes have difficulty speaking with people, except those younger or way older than me, and have difficulty expressing deep things, except through songs and poetry. I like to study about the Amazon region especially Brazil, in the context of mission/medical/dental work. Maybe someday I will go there, once I build my Mom a house and get the gumption to leave my cat. On this blog I will share about my walk in life, physical and spiritual, chat about a good book or an intriguing topic, and a LOT of information about missions. In this path of life, I choose the narrow way; I choose to follow the Light. I am beholding, though still dimly, the glory of the Lord, and am being transformed into this same image, one step at a time, through mountains and valleys, quiet and noise, peace and opposition, but led on by the still, small voice, the Spirit of the Lord. Someday soon, I, with all the rest, shall see Him in the brightness of His glory face to face.
