… Same Great Content! Haha! I think I LOVE this new look; how about y’all? I am actually thinking about improving the header a wee bit. My Mom has been telling me that I needed a new template for some time (I am really picky) but I came across this one a few days ago, told her about it, and just last night she got it all set up for me!!! (I am not that smart with computers!) The setup of this new template seems just PERFECT for my taste; I love the colors, too! Seems that most templates are cluttered and and official-looking, way out of my league. So this pretty, clean, reflective, simple theme really fits my style! (I think I’ve said that enough already…) So tell me what you think! :D BTW, the picture in my header is of the Rannoch Moor in Scotland. Beautiful place!

Photography and music! Haha! There were a few inches of snow outside this morning, but I haven’t taken any pictures yet… However, I am already remembering what beautiful flowers were all around my garden a few months ago. This is a blue hydrangea, like one of the THREE blooms it had this year! They are so beautiful, and one year the whole bush was covered with them; I wish it could always be that way.

As it is cold in the house now, my poor cat has been huddling in all the blankets, even mewing to us to help her make the blankets neat. Isn’t she just a sweetheart?

Oh, and I thought that since I wrote such a LENGTHY review the other day, I should help you out a little more by finding some CLIPS OF THE SONGS!!! Yes, unfortunately, they play automatically, so you can just click the links to the songs you want to listen to.

Saviour King, I’m not Ashamed, Break Free, Hosanna, Here in My Life, You are Faithful, To Know You’re Name, In the Mystery, One Thing, Lord of Lords, and You Saw Me.
I am sorry I could not find In Your Freedom, God of Ages, or You are My Strength. Let me tell you, though, the sound and visual quality is FAR better on the DVD! I just thought I’d help y’all to get a good look at it before you used your money! ;)

So I hope y’all are enjoying your first days of winter. I am NOT partial to winter, though. Yuk. I LIKE summer, when everything is alive, the sun is shining, the days are long and warm, and there is lots to be done :D . But if you like all the snow and… whatever there is to like about winter, then I’m happy for you ;) . (By the way, I am a true Yankee, but somehow our family has picked up the “tradition” of saying “y’all”– Maybe it even came from me, as I have studied a lot about the history of the Western United States!)

Whew! We got our first snow of the year yesterday, not much for so late in the year, but that’s OK with me! It means there is less to shovel. :D Funny thing is, yesterday I was also doing some more photo-editing, and realizing that often the pictures I take do not look at ALL like what I see when I take the picture. I end up having to EDIT it to make it look like the ACTUAL image! Here, I will show you.

This summer I took a photo of a beautiful orange lily by our arbor in the secret garden; I’m not sure what it’s called but it was SO beautiful! I had to get a picture, but this how it came out:

Blaaaaaahh. No depth of color, no nothing that communicates anything like what I really saw. So I put it into Paint Shop Pro X, and this was the result:

Tadaaaaaa! Now THAT is more like it! Ain’t it purdy? :D

I have been experimenting and studying a little (or a lot) in the art of photography. It’s kind of a hard subject to work with if you have an older digital camera, but I was able to take a rather lousy picture and perfect it! About a week ago, I had just lit a little candle in a new stained-glass candle holder, and it looked so pretty I had to get a picture. Or forty. I just wasn’t satisfied; the lighting, focus, and color just weren’t right! I even moved it into another room to try to get it just right. Now, we do not have the most beautifully tidy house, so I was also disappointed with the background. But with Paint Shop Pro, here is what I was able to do:

Thank you, thank you! You may stop clapping. Yes, I removed all the ugly blemishes on the table, too! Isn’t the little bear cute? Looks so homey.

Speaking of home, I thought I would share (yes, another) Hillsong song I found. It is called My Home. I didn’t know Marty could play the piano! I have no idea which album it’s on, but how beautiful! (that group has got a great bass player!) I started to cry. There are so many songs about Heaven that talk about a place with no sorrow and suffering, but here is a song about the desire to be in the presence of the Lord FOREVER! Would you listen to it and see if it doesn’t have the same effect on you?
