… it would be the Deeper Conference, hosted annually by Living Waters. This year their theme is “The Word of God.” I’ve explored the website and the topics by all the speakers look phenomenal, but it makes me almost want to cry because… unless a miracle happens I don’t think we could attend! It takes place October 14 an 15th in Westlake Village, Southern California. That’s in the school year and also on the other side of the country. 
I certainly hope they upload their speeches so that I can at least hear them, even if from my dinky little office area. But if any of y’all have the ability to go, I tell you, THIS looks like it’s going to be GOOD! Last year I was able to hear part of Todd Friel’s and Ray Comfort’s speeches and they were so awesome. Again, if any of you have the ability to go, it’s not anything to miss! So if you go, come back and tell me how it was 
Speaking of conferences, Living Waters is also hosting two more Transformed Conferences this year. They are free events, the first one happening in Brentwood, CA (the northern California one) on August 20, and the last one on September 17, in Littleton, Colorado. Who knows? Maybe someday they’ll be in our area and we can go; but for now, I’m hoping for at least a second-hand experience via the modern wonder of multimedia How ’bout you?
Man, I know EXACTLY how you feel — all the great conferences happen either in CA or somewhere too far away from NY! I have thought about the Deeper Conference, but the fact that it takes place in CA turned me off — unless by some miracle I were able to travel all that way. I would love to attend some kind of apologetics conference as well; but they are also in CA (mostly)…
Oh, well, maybe someday, we can travel to one of these great conferences for ourselves, God willing… that would be my dream come true.
Oh, that would be awesome! I totally want to go to one of their conferences one day. Anything Christian apologetics lights my fire! Thank God for YouTube in the meantime though…
There are so many conferences that I would love to attend as well. Not many are held in NY state for some reason.
I like Living Waters’ Ministry and would love to go to it too but due to financial reasons I won’t be able to attend. My sister and I have been searching for Christian Woman conferences in NY state but its hard to find good ones.
