I had decided to give up everything-- my career ambitions, my dreams, my everything-- because He saved me from a hopeless, heavy laden life. It's marvelous. I used to sing it all day, all the time! This was back before there was contemporary gospel music (well, we had Keith Green, and Sandi Patti, but I didn't hear about them until later). All we had was "Jesus is Just All Right With Me" by the Doobie Brothers, and the old hymns I heard as a kid! <blockquote>What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.
