Haha. Did you know that the early Eastern Christians celebrated the birth and baptism of Christ on January 6 according to their calendar (that would be January 19 according to ours), on a special day they called Epiphany? Yeah. I wonder why that’s not a very well-known fact… hmmm… maybe because they didn’t have a pagan holiday to correspond it with or couldn’t commercialize it with the CocaCola company… Anyway. I was going to use this bit of trivia as an excuse to make a late post. :D I had remembered (too late) a sweet song by Chris Rice called “Welcome to Our World” and wanted to share it with y’all.

And for good measure, here is a pretty hilarious skit on the Bethlehem incident; I actually stumbled across this just last night! It is entitled, “The Innkeeper’s Dilemma.” Wait for the part with the wise man! :D

So there. I have found an excuse for doing a late post, and you have learned a bit of history. :D We are all happy. Unless you knew this bit of history already ;)
