What to do with Thanksgiving leftovers?

One thing we surely have to thank the Lord for is the provision of food daily. Leftovers are albeit a bit cumbersome, but at least it means there is food in the house!

So it seems I always see these recipes for what to do with Thanksgiving leftovers. We did this one casserole made up of mostly mashed potatoes and turkey with leftover vegetables. Some of the fam liked it. Not this cookie. :p. I only ate it cuz Mom served it. I secretly hope we won’t have that again. Oops. Not a secret anymore!

Anywho, I’m a sandwich-lover. Anyone else? Cuz here’s a Thanksgiving leftover idea:

Rather than those casseroles or repeats of Thanksgiving dinner, try a sandwich as the main course! If you have leftover biscuits, heat them up, split them in half and stack: cheese, leftover turkey, topped with leftover gravy, or salad dressing, worchestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, mustard, or whatever you prefer, and finally something leafy like lettuce or kale. You may want some leftover potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and/or vegetables on the side. It’s a savory break from the conventional way! If you don’t have biscuits, use bread of your choice, even toasted!

Dig in! And yes, that is the atheist’s nightmare you see behind the two mini-sandwiches. ;)
