To glorify Him. God bless those people who use their personal fame to glorify God and advance the knowledge of Him. If you have been following my blog, you know I appreciate Kirk Cameron for this. Seems in 2007, he and his good ‘ol buddy Ray Comfort had a debate with two atheists from some organization called Rational Response. Never heard of it, but I guess it’s out there to help us understand that there is no God, and therefore we can do whatever trash we want. I haven’t watched the whole thing yet; what I have seen of it honestly just made me angry. But I really liked Kirk’s opening speech. In less than 5 minutes Kirk reaches out to atheists, people who are just like he was. Watch to learn more.
And in closing, here’s Christian comedian Rich Praytor with a suggestion for the atheists’ Pledge of Allegiance.
I haven’t seen anyone as intense and sincere as Kirk Cameron. He is just amazing. In the mid-70s and 80s, there was a small “revival” in Hollywood, brought in part by Debby Boone. I know that many actors and actresses were saved from their horrible lives to serve the living God. It’s just amazing to watch the fires spread. Glory to God!!
