Word for Wednesday: I Will Praise Him

I will praise the Lord, I will extol Him, I will rejoice, because He has lifted me up and delivered me from the hand of my enemy.
I will praise Him, for He has shown mercy and delivered me from evil.
I will praise Him, for He has promised to never leave me.
I will praise Him, for He hears every petition I make.
I will praise Him, for He has given me abundant blessings.
I will praise Him, for He has worked wonders where I thought there was no hope.
I will praise Him, for He prepares a place for me!
I will praise the Lord at all times; I will rejoice because my focus is on Him and His goodness, on all He is and all He has done for me.

“I will sing to the LORD,
For He has triumphed gloriously!
The horse and its rider
He has thrown into the sea!
The LORD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him;
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” (Exodus 15:1-2)

I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:1-3)

Blessed be the LORD,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him. (Psalm 28:6-7)

I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing to You among the nations.
For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. (Psalm 57:9-10)

But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble.
To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises;
For God is my defense,
My God of mercy. (Psalm 59:16-17)

Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
‘ For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’”
Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation.
And in that day you will say:
“ Praise the LORD, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.
Sing to the LORD,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth.
Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!” (Isaiah 12:2-6)

I am the LORD, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images. (Isaiah 42:8)

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
O my soul, you have said to the LORD,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You…
I have set the LORD always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. (Psalm 16:1-2,8)

In conclusion:

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
I called on the LORD in distress;
The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.
The LORD is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?
The LORD is for me among those who help me;
Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
It is better to trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in princes. (Psalm 118:1, 5-9)

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Hebrews 13:15)

God is good isn’t He? Doesn’t matter how evil the world is, what the schemes of man are, nor how much Satan spews his garbage. Cuz in the end, what’s gonna remain? Thank God, we shall be with Him where He is!!! That’s a reason to sing.

All I need is You, Lord! Nothing else; this universe is Yours, and all that is in it; You watch over me, therefore I will not fear anything else; You are in control!
